I had the opportunity to curb and entire armoire, but it was TOO big. I settled for a couple of doors and shelves instead. This is one of the doors:

I love how that turned out, Gail! The colors are great, and using the scrabble tile tray was smart!
I really like how you have it organized, with a separate section just for blog stuff.
Oooh, it looks so good! I might have to steal this idea…
I LOVE that!! I have been wanting to do a to do list kind of thing and that would be perfect!
Wow, this is such a great project idea. It came out beautifully. And yes… I do wish I had junk hanging around my house if it looked that good! lol. I am your newest follower. Have a great day.

Darn cute and so stylish. Um, I do have junk laying around I got a desk for free in October and it is beyond repair…I was thinking about dismantling it and using the sides as a chalkboard…seeing how fab your is…I need to get a move on!
Hey Gail!
That turned out really cute. Love the color coordination with the new kitchen, the scrabble tile chalk tray, and the hardware…
great project and cheap too!
Right up my ally!

Turned out really cute, I will have to contemplate this one for a little while.
This looks awesome Gail!
I could totally see myself pulling it off the wall 🙂
Love this project AND your creative use of a leaf blower. I’ll be following your example from now on!

WoW! That turned out GREAT! LOVE the addition of the words!! Now I must think about doing something like this myself!
Nice work 🙂
That fits that spot perfect. Love the colors you used too. I have got to paint something with this chalkboard paint. I feel so left out!
Great job! I love this. I’m a big fan of the “blog” section. I’m always getting bloggin inspiration at the strangest moments and I’m sure many of us do. Love

This is fantastic! I just showed my almost 8 year old and she loves it!
Excellent timing with this as I’m going to be doing a similar thing to my son’s (though the other will probably request it too) bedroom door. I like the idea of the scrabble tile holders for the chalk, especially since I have some extras laying around! Though it might fly off with kiddos slamming door, so I’ll have to mull that part over 🙂 Maybe on a wall next to the door, hmm.

What a great way to keep Organized.
Great job Gail. Soo cute and perfect door choice!
I love it! Especially the size of it, you can really see what you write and not have to have your glasses on 🙂 I love the font you used for the titles on it, cute.
That’s a great idea – thanks for sharing.
I can’t wait to find “stuff” out ther waiting to be re created like that!!! I absolutely LOVE it!!! and yes, it was definately worth the wait to
that looks great Gail.. I’m sure it’ll get used a lot. . love the idea of the scrabble tile holder for chalk.. I’ve got to get some of those chalk pens.
So cute!
Spring is just around the corner and I have a garage FULL of projects just waiting for me! And some in the house too! I’m thinking some chalkboard paint is in my future.
Very fun, Gail! I love that you used a Scrabble rack to hold your chalk. And the black handle is great! Fantastic!
So cute and I love the tray for the chalk!
LOVE IT!
You are so inspiring!
Thank you.
It was worth the wait…LOVE this! I will be on the lookout for a similar door…tfs!
Awesome! You’re truly an artist!! You should start a little side blog where people can send pics of their own junk (I’m first in line) and ask what you would suggest to make it into something lovely! 🙂
I have this huge, square bamboo/wicker coffee table I got from the thrift store…but it needs a makeover in the worst way… *sigh* LOL
The Scrabble tile holder as a chalk holder is pretty genius! Of course the entire project is amazing but I so love that idea :0)
I really like that idea and the way you did it. I also went and looked at your floor painting project and kitchen. I too painted my white cabinets, and what a difference! Your house is a beauty and I’m so happy to know that you did it. It sure gives the rest of us hope for ourselves AND great ideas 😀

As Rachel Ray would say, “How clever is that”
Yep. I have the junk. Now I just wish I had your fabulous eye and talent (along with the time) to accomplish great things. Another great job, Gail, I’m sure your super organizer will be of great value to you1
Perfect piece for that project! Gee, I sure wish I had junk like that laying around…..oh, right, I do! 😉
I just don’t ever get around to making it into cool stuff like you do.
This came out so great. Pat yourself on the back for that one.
You are so clever…love how you used the vinyl lettering on it too!
Oh I love it!! I can’t wait for it to warm up a bit so I can go scrounge around our barn for something similar! It looks awesome!
