This is a great way to repurpose an old chair into a chair dog bed.
If you've ever lurked or joined in on the posts over at the trash to treasure message boards on HGTV.com you have probably seen these kinds of projects. I was inspired by Sharon S. to make this dog bed out of an old chair. As you can see, you simply cut the chair down to size, add a simple box, and some legs.
We fondly refer to this bed as the "King Louie" bed, named for the grand dog seen below.
He's sort of like Goldilocks, he tried out a couple of beds and decided he liked the second version of the King Louie bed.
This is another version. This project helps you use up odds and ends you have laying around. Old chairs, chair legs, and luan/beadboard.

Gail reinvented herself during a midlife crisis and has found purpose again. She hopes you will find new ideas for old things and pick up a few tools along the way.
