Okay, I’m at episode #7 of DIY with MRL. I hope that you are enjoying the chats I’m having with friends on the podcasts.

    Anne Payetta White Lace Cottage

This week’s guest is Anne Payetta from White Lace Cottage. Anne actually did a guest post here  on My Repurposed Life a year and a half ago sharing how she made a Christmas tree skirt using a vintage sheet.

Anne sells some of her projects out of her garage during here Vintage Chic Sales. She loves pastel colors so I asked her about something that wasn’t so light and she talked about her Green Kitchen Island.

Anne’s best find ever at a thrift store is this shabby chic dresser. Her favorite repurpose is a desk she recently transformed into two tables. Other than that one, her favorite is  a vintage lamp/funnel planter.

Anne is an Heirloom Traditions brand ambassador, and this is her first piece  using Heirloom Traditions Paint. (visit HTP and use the code MYREPURPOSEDLIFE to save 10% and free shipping)

Projects and links mentioned by gail:

Gail recommends a Ryobi battery powered circular saw, you can see a repurposed desk project using the saw in the post  Dressing Table our of a Repurposed Desk , another repurposed desk project is the Tower of Terror.

Find out which tool intimidates Gail the most…. plus how to get Home Depot to do your rip cuts. Winking smile

A special thanks to our Sponsor this week:

Congratulations on your new family member!
I've seen DIY projects for pet beds using vintage suitcases, spindles, fabric and foam
You could use smaller spindles so she could have easier access, when she is at her max size switch to a little taller spindles
      Best Wishes! 🙂 Terri
