An outdoor planter gets a makeover with paint and a Super Finish Max. See how to deal with rust and make this pedestal planter shine again.
This birdbath has been passed down and was definitely in need of Spring clean up. Using a Finish Max allows you to paint your items in place because of the minimal overspray. Prep work is essential when painting an old birdbath.
Do you have an old porch swing? Don’t waste your time painting it with a roller or brush, a paint sprayer will knock out this job in no time! I prefer doing several light coats instead of a couple of heavy coats on all of my projects.
Talk about a big job! My diy picket fence may be the largest job I’ve ever using a paint sprayer! Because the air is directional on the Homeright Finish Max paint sprayer, you can get really good coverage on your projects.
Yeah, I could have used a brush to paint my new porch posts, but the flawless paint job with a paint sprayer can’t be beat! Great tips for replacing porch posts too.
How to paint a storm door without removing it from it’s hinges. This door is not a standard size, so painting it was a quick and easy way to update it until I can have a new custom door hung.
Did you know that you can use stain in the Homeright Paint Sprayers? Spraying stain really is a great option on fencing that is ready to be stained. NOTE: new treated wood needs to dry out before being painted or sprayed. If I choose to stain my new small deck I’ll definitely be using a sprayer. But for now, the wood has to dry out.

I have an old picnic table that been sitting out for 10 years. Should I just start scraping all the junk off, then sand it and then spray paint it?

Lori,
The picnic table needs to be free of all dirt, flaking paint and debris. A new coat of paint couldn't hurt! I wouldn't recommend spray paint because it probably would soak in. Thanks to you and home right I stained over 200 feet of fence a few years ago. I saved so much time and used less stain. It was such a life saver. This is so easy to use and clean up is a snap. I shared the story with a cousin who bought one and she redid an entire bedroom set for the first time ever. Thanks for sharing this sprayer.
