These old sewing machine cabinets are easy to come by. Sometimes they have machines and sometimes the machines are already gone. If you find one with a machine, check out my post “How to Remove a Vintage Sewing Machine”

My friend Cathy and I redid this little cabinet. It took quite a bit of sanding, as it was in pretty bad shape. We added a small shelf where the sewing machine had been. The color of course is an "oops".

I had a sewing machine table exactly like the one you had. I didn't have the heart to take it apart and repaint it though since it was my grandmas. I love how yours turned out, so cute!

I have one of those that I use for a side table and it desperately needs to be painted - love that color! Thanks for the inspiration.
