Today I’m telling you about the fabulous Homeright Spray Painting Shelter . I’m so excited about this new and unique product!

Many of us struggle with places to do our painting. I was doing my spraying in a carport, but it’s so dark in there, that I find I have a difficult time seeing if I’ve missed a spot.
Then I started spraying my projects on a drop cloth on the driveway. Now, I have a new way to get my projects done.
This is the wonderful new Homeright Spray Shelter. It is such a compact size to store away, but opens up to make a roomy spray booth.

I’ll be honest, the first time I put the paint shelter up, I struggled with the assembly. I’m not a camper, and I don’t have a very good understanding of how tents go up.
Since that first time, I’ve put it up several more times, and it’s gotten so easy I can put it up in about five minutes. The directions are attached right to the bag so you will never lose them! Here are a few key points to remember:
- Laying it out on the ground or your driveway first is a must
- The front of the tent has pins that insert into the back poles. The front poles crisscross and end up using the pins on the back of the tent.
- I find that it’s easiest to insert the front poles and pins, then the back poles and pins.
- After you’ve done that, attach all of the clips to the poles.
- There is a ring in the back center that can be secured with an included stake, or weighted down with something heavy if you’re on a hard surface instead of the grass.
- When taking the Spray Shelter down, go in the reverse order.
- Lay your tent out neatly, folding it up that way, will allow you to put it up quickly the next time you use it.
Specs for the Spray Shelter

After setting up the paint shelter and some sawhorses, I readied my project. It’s a free coffee table I got from my friend Cathy.
Of course I used my Finish Max with Heirloom Traditions Paint. (Moody)
I thought was going to be a gray, but then it looked blue…. then gray again. So, I guess you could say it’s an awesome blue-gray!
I started by painting the underneath side of the table.
Raising your project off the ground really helps your aching back, and allows you to get to hard-to-reach places.
The Finish Max and the Heirloom Traditions paint made this cheapo coffee table look good.
See how I did an easy image transfer on this cheap coffee table.

I’m so excited about this giveaway! I could really use these products for all the projects I need to complete. Hope I’m the lucky winner! Love your blogspot…lots of great ideas!
Hmmm… where should I start? Okay, first, I Live to paint! I paint anything that doesn’t move, Okay, I accidentally painted my Hubby once, But, in my defense he should have known by now that I’m dangerous with a spray can! hahaha. Having a Shelter like this would be Heaven! No more rainbow colored grass ( Which, by the way looks very festive hours before throwing a backyard bash!) it would also mean no more furniture “body outlines” in the driveway (Oh, you painted your table!) and, the best one for last. The fateful day I neglected to close the garage door before painting. Honestly, I didn’t think it was that windy! Have you ever seen a black Harley Davidson motorcycle with lime green overspray? Yeah, I Really Need a Spray Paint Shelter, not only for my projects, but for my Husbands sanity.
I have a somewhat complicated life and building/painting is my PEACE, my stress reliever. I still have to paint by brush in the house because I have no place to use the Homeright finishmax sprayer I bought, I would love to have that spray shelter as I have many projects backed up waiting to be made beautiful so they can enter the world in glory.
I could use all of these! Have lots of little projects that need to be done, yet hubby says ‘NO!’ To painting in his garage!
What a great idea! I would love to win too. I’m exploring with updating my furniture with paint and have asthma so I need to be outside to do it. This would work perfect.
I have had my eye on this sprayer for some time. I’m exited to hear that there is a solution to the problem of finding a good place to use it. I’d love to be able to update my kitchen cabinets and a few furniture pieces without spending too much money.
I sooooooo need this giveaway because we only have a one car garage (which the car does NOT go in because of all the other stuff in there)! So I can’t paint in there and our development’s houses are all pretty close together so I need a way to keep the spray from bothering the neighbors!!!!
I love the shelter. I know my husband would use it all the time. He paints outside a lot and this would work perfectly. Love this idea
I would Love to have this, as it would make my life so much easier.
I have several to do items that I want to spray, and I do not have any way of working on them due to
needing to have them in an enclosed space, like this tent!
Thank-You so much for the chance.
Also, I would use a garden Hose for easy clean up.
I am so excited about this. We just bought a 1970’s home that needs so much updating. I am going to be updating and painting cabinetry, doors, walls, trim, and building some cabinets too. A sprayer and shelter would be perfect for my many projects, and making clean-up better would be the icing on the cake.
I would use this awesome spray shelter to paint my furniture! Such a great invention! Thanks Gail!
Let’s see I would use either a kitchen sink, because I don’t have a utility sink, or a garden hose. I think like you said the garden hose has more power and would work better! 🙂
