Yay! It’s time for the Dollar Store Design Squad! Fun Fall projects made from dollar store items. Those foam pumpkins seem to be a favorite, what have you done with them?
Hello Fall Rustic Pumpkin Sign
This month’s Power Tool Challenge was to make a sign. I’ve made a lot of signs, so I thought it would be fun to make a pumpkin sign greeting Fall with the words “hello Fall”. The rustic pumpkin is made out of pallet boards. I love the way it turned out and I hope you do to. Maybe it will inspire you to make your own pumpkin sign. If not, maybe one of the other great signs will inspire you!
Pumpkin Trick or Treat Candy Holder
This Fall harvest yard sign – plans available at your local Home Depot at their DIH Workshop coming up this Thursday evening at a store near you. I made a pumpkin sign that could be used throughout the Fall season including Thanksgiving. The small box could be used as a planter or even to hold fall decor picks and such.
Home Depot DIH Harvest Yard Sign Workshop
If you know me well at all, you know how much I enjoy shopping at Home Depot. I call it my happy place. I love to just run in and get what I need, but even more than that–browsing the aisles looking for new ways to use their items sparks my creativity. So imagine how thrilled I am to be working with them to promote this month’s DIH Harvest Yard Sign workshop!
Happy Fall Y’all Repurposed Cabinet Door
I love making stuff out of cabinet doors, and it doesn’t get any easier than paint and stenciling this Happy Fall Y’all sign! While I was getting stuff ready for Glendale 2015, I was sort of on a painting frenzy, grabbing lots of cabinet doors from my stash. I painted them all black with…

Creepy Halloween Candelabra
I recently picked up this antique floor lamp at a thrift store for $5. Actually it’s charity thrift store, in which the man quoted a price of $3. But I knew it was worth 5, so that’s what I gave him for it. I spent a little time gutting it, and cleaning it up….
Krylon {mystery box} Halloween Mantel
Last month I received a goody box of these products from Krylon. I was to use 5 of the nine items for a Halloween project. As you can see, I used 6 items. I didn’t use the flower, stake or the wooden plaque. Supplies I used: Krylon Paint White, Black, Green, Green Glitter…
Halloween Buckets
Today, I’m going to show you how to transform a $1.00 bucket (cauldron) from the $$Tree into a customized bucket for the kids to collect their candy or for you to hand out candy. I downloaded some really cute Halloween designs from the Silhouette Online store. Remember, these images are only .99 each. Some designs…
