So, today I'm sharing this awesome Always Kiss Me Goodnight sign, perfect for your master bedroom!
Last fall, I made the Twins (window cabinets) for Missy’s mom Mary. Mary was sweet enough to send me some extra goodies!

Design Always Kiss Me Goodnight Vinyl Phrase
I posted on Facebook asking for suggestions for a sign. Gayla suggested “Always Kiss Me Goodnight”. I have loved that phrase for a long time, so I designed it in my Silhouette program. I used the font Adorable. Available for free download at Dafont.com
Master Bedroom Sign | Always Kiss Me Goodnight
And voila! Here it is! I think this would look fabulous over a bed. Not mine of course, since the only one that kisses me goodnight is this little guy . . .
Easy DIY Sign for Over The Bed
I love my Silhouette, but it sure is a challenge for me to figure out which phrase I want to use, AND which font to use! I really like the way this one turned out, but I’m sure had I chosen another one I would have loved it too.
Would you like to see what I made with the matching headboard?

could you tell me the measurements for this sign?
Gail Wilson
This is a full sized foot board, so subracting the bed posts, I'm guessing the sign is approximately 49" in width.

Gail I am new to dafont and I am not sure how to find the one you are speaking of here. Also, once I download it how exactly did you get it onto the sign???
gail@myrepurposedlife.com
Dafont.com has a search option near the top right.
As you click to download it, pay attention to where it saves on your computer. I save mine to "downloads". After it downloads, click to open the file, and select "extract all"
After the file extracts, there will be a little window showing the font, with an "install" button. After you install the new font, it will be available in all of your programs that use fonts. If you're using a silhouette machine, you will have to open the program AFTER the font is installed on your computer for the program to find the font.
If you have any questions, just let me know.

Sweet Gail! You need to find a local shop and sell these. My friend owns a wedidng store in LA and this would sell like hot cakes!

That turned out great! The shape is so cute for a sign, and the font you used looks really pretty on it, like it just fits.
Yup. I have someone to kiss me goodnight. If he can even stay awake that long!
Sue
I love this saying too! The kids now have a age (again), where they don't mind anymore to give their Mom a goodnight kiss. Hubby never seemed to mind... ;o)
Pam
Love it. It looks really nice.
Becky@Beyond The Picket Fence
I have always loved this saying and on the footboard it is even more perfect.
Stephanie
Love the saying and the font you used! This would make a wonderful wedding gift š You are getting to be a pro with that machine!

Love the footboard sign! It turned out great!
Just Me
I love this saying too! Question: did you print the wording on vinyl? Does it go through your printer and you cut it out or are you using a cridut machine? I have seen vinyl rolls but unsure how to use them. If you hand painted it you did an awesome job!

Love the curvy sign. A little reminder is always a good thing! I love the font too. I'm going to go download it now before I forget š

I have that quote decal'd on my bedroom wall! My hubby remembers more often than I do! š I guess that was the point of putting it up...

You could sell these! I'd buy one. Very unique to use the bed boards. Thanks for sharing the font... it IS adorable! I'd take kisses from your little fur baby. He made me smile, even before coffee š
Have a good day, Gail.

Super awesome project! and...I love the story behind it, followed up by the comment just before mine from Missy.;) Nothing beats a great group of people around in support. For what it's worth....I think kisses from that adorable terrier of yours beat out kisses from my hubby!! (Shhh....don't tell him. lol)
Have a great day!

Mom will be so glad to know you were able to make something so cute out of some of the "goodies" she sent you! š I LOVE the sign, it turned out adorable! (and I think your little poochie could read it if you want to use it over your bed.) š That font is beautiful too!

I love it! I've always loved that little quote too - but the boys around here at that age when then would not allow it! You did a beautiful job with yours. I have a Silhouette and love it... just haven't used it much. Guess I'm waiting for the walls to get painted. Have made some great gifts out of old windows with it.

That looks like a good gift for the newlyweds, my friend!
I purchased a vinyl of this saying, cut the words apart and applied it to the risers of my 2nd floor stairway, starting a few steps from the bottom and working up. Since Mike and I are the only ones that ever go upstairs to the bedroom it felt like the right place to put it.
Mike was tickled pink with it, now he always chuckles when he goes up the stairs. š
