Well, the fence is done—mostly! There are a few more things to do, plus a new sidewalk needs to be created. And…. a whole lot of painting!

Painting a fence can be a big challenge, but if you hop over to Homeright.com you will see how I am tackling this huge job and get all the details of how I’m doing it.

In addition, while you’re at Homeright, be sure to check out their new site and I highly recommend signing up for their email subscription or rss feeds by putting homeright.com/diy in your favorite reader.

Update! I painted three more sections yesterday. Even though I had already painted the sections to the left of the arbor, after I painted the sections to the right (yesterday) it made such a HUGE difference and brought a huge smile to my face. I believe part of it has to do with the greener grass.

I averaged about 25 mins per each of these sections. Not bad, eh?

  1. I love the new DIY site for Homeright.com. It hard to choose which project is my favorite? So many great idea’s. The new fence looks awesome. Great Job! I guess I will pick the DYI picket fence as my favorite, but I like all your DYI Idea’s. Keep up the DYI’s.

  2. Your site is awesome! Very easy to navigate and not cluttered like a lot of blogs that I’ve seen. Your fence is great! We are hoping to put up new fencing this summer.

  3. Love the new site! I might tackle the Lego cube table for the PreK class at our school. I just repurposed a desk to a kitchen island following one of your blog posts. Would love to win the paint sprayer to finish it up!s
