    headboards repurposed

Do YOU collect headboards like I do? I have used headboards in more projects than any other item. They are plentiful in thrift stores and on the side of the road.

It’s hard for me to turn down a headboard of any kind. My preference is of course benches, but there are so many things you can do with headboards.

Check out these great headboard project ideas  . . .

Very creative ideas with the headboards. I have two twin headboards/foot boards and just itching to make benches. Maybe next summer. You have given m e good ideas. Thanks for sharing

I'm going to chalk on my next board with these wise words: "If you stand still long enough, I will chalk you".

What great ideas! I love the first one the most. Wish I had a place I could refinish/re-do things. I'm itching to re-do our bedroom furniture.

I too have a large stash of headboards. In fact I think I have about 20 of them stored out in the grain bin. Great projects!

You are such a genius on how you repurpose these head boards. I especially love the child's bookcase head board.
