Vanity Decoupaged with Brown Paper (faux leather covers up bad veneer)
Repurposed Nighstands into Chest
Cut a Desk so it’s not so deep

I love walking down memory lane with you! An awesome round up of projects!
These are lovely projects, Gail. I really like that desk turned into a tall storage unit–very clever idea! My husband took a free, old, beat-up desk, cut off one of the drawer sides, and turned it into a lovely makeup vanity for me last year! I hope to share it on my blog soon, but am waiting because I finally am getting a better camera, and hope to take some pictures with it.
Great transformations! The desk into kitchen island is my favorite.

This is amazing. Like jaw-dropped to the floor, how do you do that amazing.
You truly have a talent for transforming things!
I’ll never look at a crappy ole desk the same way…now they have infinite possibilities! I’m on the hunt for something to convert to a bed side table and now I’ve decided I need a tall dresser too…lol
Your headline made me laugh. I thought “oh man, what has she done now.” I bet your mother never let you play with scissors, right? They are all awesome projects!
Loved it all!!
Oh love the kitchen island!!! Must have been before I started following your blog.
Hi Gail!!!
Those projects are amazing! My favorite is the desk to island transformation.
I just recently found you and began following. You are an absolute magician! How wonderful it must be to see a piece of bad, curbside furniture but also the transformed butterfly you will make it!
