Here’s a redo of a redo! It doesn’t happen often, but this is an old project I did in 2009, and now I’ve updated it and gave it a new look. It was a nightstand, then a t.v. stand, now it’s a small chest great for a guest room OR a coffee station in a small kitchen.
I LOVE making repurposed door projects. This DIY entry table is beautiful and functional. Add a basket under the lower shelf to add even more functionality. This is it! The last piece of the free furniture from my neighbor! The headboard has been repurposed into a sign for my kitchen! I love, love, love how it turned out. I hope you do to.
I’m still in the process of changing up the free furniture I got from my neighbors. Today’s project involves a nightstand that I turned into a kid’s chalkboard desk. I recently got a free dresser (I call the tall pieces chest of drawers, but most people call them dressers). The piece had a lot of damage on the bottom, after cutting off the damaged portion, it was shorter, and seemed the perfect size to make a coffee station cabinet. A new writing desk hutch made from a vintage sewing cabinet and a repurposed furniture drawer! There was some trial and error trying to find “just” the right drawer, and a few hiccups along the way, but in the end, I love how this turned out and I think the Naval color is perfect with the cubbies.
